Look no further than Tashkent’s Anhor Lokomotiv Amusement Park and adjoined Navruz Park, which offer hours of fun.

As with most entertainment in Tashkent, things kick off when the sun goes down and the crowds come out. Entry is free, and you just pay for whatever ride or activity you choose.

1. Experience Go Karting

Enjoy both indoor and outdoor karting tracks with a variety of car types to choose from.

Tickets range from 85,000 to 105,000 Som for a 10-minute ride of roughly 5.5km.

Newbies and small children can also ride with an instructor or parent if desired.

Booking in advance is recommended due to popularity. We couldn’t try it ourselves in the evening as it was fully booked!

2. Zip Lining

Experience the thrill of zip-lining across the park’s lake, offering a panoramic view of the entire park. Not for those with vertigo!

There’s also a separate zip line for young children to enjoy.

3. Ferris Wheel ‘Star of Anhor’

Take a ride on Uzbekistan’s tallest ferris wheel, standing at 72 meters, located at the bottom of Navruz Park.

Enjoy stunning views of Tashkent, including almost aerial views of nearby landmarks such as Pakhtakor Stadium and Chorsu Bazaar, especially on a clear sunny day.

At night, the wheel transforms with a dazzling display of changing colors. Tickets cost 20,000 Som.

4. Ride One of Tashkent’s Biggest Rollercoasters

The so-named ‘Anhor Fly’, is the park’s biggest rollercoaster and has many twists and turns. It is a favorite for Tashkent’s adrenaline junkies!

Go during the early evening to avoid the queues as this is very popular during the evenings.

5. Try Over 30 Different Fairground Rides

Indulge in a wide variety of rides, including carousels, dodgems, ghost houses, attractions for small children, mirror mazes, shooting games, trampolining, the thrilling ‘sky drop,’ and a four-story high ‘bag drop.’

8. Enjoy Food and Drink in a Grape Vine Garden

Loza Art Cafe serves meat, fish, soups and salads in a beautiful garden setting adorned with grape vines and Uzbek-style drapes.

The ambiance is especially enchanting at night when the garden is illuminated.

Make sure to book in advance during busy periods such as evenings during Ramadan.


9. Spot Uzbekistan’s Most Iconic Buildings – in Mini!

Marvel at miniature versions of Uzbekistan’s iconic buildings, scattered around the park’s bottom corner.

From the Registan to the Khudayar Khan Palace, discover these mini replicas best viewed from the spiral-shaped bridge.

10. Try Sumalak Visit During Navruz Festival

Navruz Festival is a national Uzbek holiday around 21st March. Uzbeks celebrate by consuming a sweet paste made of germinated wheat and cooked for hours overnight.
